The location of underground services is often a critical factor in any development – the cost and time scale involved in re-routing services or having non-existent services supplied, can be a decisive factor on the viability of a scheme. It is also vitally important to ensure that existing services are identified to ensure safe working when breaking ground onsite.
Our experienced survey team can help to eliminate the need to excavate. We use the latest underground mapping equipment to detect the presence of services and voids.
Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is suitable for the identification of non-metallic pipes, such as plastic or asbestos cement, are detected. When needed, we will also utilise radio detection (also known as EML) to compliment the GPR survey. If you require a PAS 128 specification survey, please let us know which level is required when requesting a quote.
