By using Revit and ArchiCAD we produce detailed 3D models, 2D data of the building can be extracted or interrogated quite easily. At the same time – stunning visuals of the property are created that can be useful for planning or community engagement.

Why use 3D Modelling?
Sometimes, a typical 2D plan just doesn’t show what you need to see. Without the need for multiple site visits, many architects and interior designers are requesting Revit or ArchiCAD models. This way they can get a better view of what’s going on inside and outside the building and is an absolute must for BIM projects.

Why use Survey Hub?
Survey Hub use dedicated 3D CAD technicians who use their extensive knowledge (and years of experience) to produce quality 3D models for a variety of projects.

Through close collaboration with designers and their clients, our technicians produce up-to-date models, to give the design team a more realistic representation of the project. As things progress, this helps them make instant changes.

There are three main ways our technicians can produce a 3D Model:

– With a laser scanning and point cloud, our technicians can construct an accurate 3D model in Revit or ArchiCAD.
_ With data from a measured survey, using Total Station. The data obtained from this measured survey is then converted to a suitable file type for preliminary changes before transferring to AutoCAD (where the majority of the 2D modelling will be performed). The obtained 2D drawing is finally converted to 3D designs in your selected format, allowing our technicians to produce quality cross-sections, elevations, and plans.
– Alternatively, we are capable of making 3D models from 2D drawings provided.
