Our team was appointed to carry out a topographical, drainage and underground utilises survey of the proposed development site. The comprehensive land survey captured all key site features, including natural and man-made elements, ground levels, and boundary details. Topographical surveys are essential for developments of this scale, providing accurate data to support land redevelopment and the initial stages of construction.
For our client, Keepmoat, there was a clear need for investment in new residential developments., with increasing housing demand in the area. They are revitalising disused land to create a thriving community of 604 high-quality, energy-efficient homes.
Due to the time of year, the survey took place during a particularly wet period, which presented several challenges. Standing water across the lower-lying areas of the site affected our Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) , making it difficult to detect the ground beneath the surface. To overcome this, the survey was carefully planned and completed in stages, allowing our team to work around changing weather conditions.

Once the weather improved, our determined team successfully completed the site work and delivered the accurate survey data required by Keepmoat. As a project located close to our headquarters, we are proud to have played a role in this development and look forward to seeing the positive impact Beeston Canalside will have on the local community.
